Our Story

Every story has twists and turns. Ours started with a physician who was burned out. A quest to work through and get out of burnout led her to the realization that doing creative projects helped provide life balance. She used the skills from designing and building her basement to guide her into a new lifes’ path: interior design. Fortunately, Fox Valley Technical College was just down the road, and they had some phenomenal instructors. Taking classes sparked a new love, and the Design Doctor came to light.
